Losing Home over Government's aerial fancy
Hello,
Greetings,
I come from a very middle class family in Hyderabad. My mother with her brother have bought a property in Sainikpuri which is beside a Naala. We have got the property registered in the year 2015 without any dispute. We have recently had some government officials enter our homes to determine some measurements. When asked, they said that the Government wishes to expand the Naalas by 21 metres to enhance an aerial view of the city and thereby shattering our homes. They havent sent us any notice yet, but when my uncle inquired at the relative office, they have said that this house is on the bottle neck and our house will be the first to be pulled down. They said we will receive a notice soon along with a deadline about when to vacate the house. We are clueless on what the compensation would be. I am studying my intermediate and there are two more children in the house, all dependant on our parents. Our parents have spent all of their money to provide us with this home instead of going about renting spaces. When we thought we finally have a home of our own, this issue has popped up. Will you please be able to help us with any advice, sir?
I'm just trying my small bit to help my parents any way that I can.
Much Regards,
Krishna Priya
