Landlord asked to vacate in 15 days
Hi,
I have been living in an apartment that is rented out as a shared accomodation for women. The owner has framed a rule that whenever a girl leaves she has to find another girl to replace her, and she would get back her security deposit only when the new girl comes in and pays her security deposit. The people staying there are living there individually with everything seperate. I have been living there for more than a year. There is no legal agreement, no rent receipts given.
Now, due to some personal grudges some other girls went and told certain lies about me to the owner (very minor things though like didn't clean the kitchen, didn't receive their parcel) and threatened her that they will not live if I am not asked to leave. So, the owner without any solid reason accused me of things I didn't do, traumatised me and asked me to leave the property in 15 days. Although I have left the property, I want to raise voice against this unfair treatment. How can I do so?
Furthermore, the kind of set up she is running, is it residential or commercial? She does not have any commercial license.
