Forceable retirement -please clarify

I am working in one of the reputed newspaper in Marketing department and the retirement age is 60. Now I just completed 57 and have three more years of service. Over several years , My performance is consistent -meeting most of the expectations as per performance appraisal process. However the management has started harassing us. Last month HR dept. called us and informed that since the company is restructuring their operation, it is finding out difficulty in accommodating us and hence forcing us to take pre retirement by way of offering resignation on our own. With regards to 'benefits' they are mentioning 'earned leave' and notice 'period leave' can be en cashed apart from PF and gratuity. No VRS package will be given. They are insisting us to submit resignation on our own without mentioning 'pre retirement' so that the above benefits can be offered other wise they will not offer any benefit. Three years back, the company has forceably taken signature for us on the letter stating the services can be terminated without assigning any reason and they have not provided any copy of the same for our records. Now please clarify point by point a)Whether company can force us to resign before our retirement age? b)whether company can terminate our service without giving any valid reasons? c)whether company can deny VRS package which was given 3 years back to other staff d)Whether company can threaten us to mention 'resignation' on our own (and not pre retirement) e)Can we resist and continue to work? f)If we do not resign, what company can do to us? g)If company terminates us (in spite of good performance) on what ground they can terminate us? h)Can we approach legal authority (like labour court, civil court etc). We being administrative/management staff, which legal authority we should approach? i)On what ground we can approach legal authority? j)How much time it takes and how much we have spend to fight the case? k)what documents do we need to defend our selves? l)If they terminate our service, can we get PF and gratuity immediately or to wait till court verdict? Please clarify all these points so that it helps many people
