Daughter's right in ancestral property
My great grandfather( father of my Nana ji) had 3 sons(all died) and two daughters (one alive only). The property is ancestral which is in the name of my great grandfather.
1. My grandfather (elder brother) had two wives( both died). First wife had no child whereas second(my Nani) has two daughters only( my mummy and maasy).
2. Brother of my grandfather next to him has 3-3 sons and daughters respectively.
3. The youngest grand father has two son and a single daughter.
Questions-
1. Are daughters(my mummy and maasy) of elder brother ( my grandfather) eligible to get right in the property?
2. Since my grandfather did not have any son so all the rituals in his and his first wife's funeral was carried by elder son of my second grand father. Now he is claiming that he did all formalities and rituals So he wants two division in my grandfather's property. One part for him and second part for my mother and maasy. Is this possible?
3. Will the ancestral property will be divided amongst all the children (3 son and 2 daughters) and their offsprings?
4 . Also let my pros and cons of this situation.
