How to find the location of my land?

Namaste Sir First of all, thanks for giving your time. Sir, I have a property in wazirabad, gurgaon. My problem is that “I don’t know the exact location of my land i.e. I know the area but not knowing the exact location”. Initially, my maternal grandfather was the owner of this land. Then I went to the court & through court decree, court give order to halqa patwari to transfer this property to me, which he (Patwari) also did & mutation was successfully transferred at my name after going through various stages i.e. mutation no., girdhavri & tehsildar’s signature. Now, in order to find the exact location, last month, my close friend, who is a property dealer also, takes me to the retd. Tehsildar & after reading paper of “ragister intkal” he said that it is quite clear that you are holding the share of 1/43 of the total land and you have a legal right to possess your land as in this paper of “ragister intkal” you are shown as “kabiz” also. Then coming to the main point, he further said that to find the exact location of your land, the simplest & fastest way is to hire a local property dealer & with the help of him, try to search a vacant land (in my possible area only) & whenever you find such a vacant land then just sit over there or construct a small boundary wall around there. & thus, that will be my final place. Is he (retd. Tehsildar) rightly said? Please guide me…. Thanks & Regards! Rahul Khanna Samalkha
