Regarding the self earned property of my father

My father was a retired army doctor. He expired in 2009 in Mysore Karnataka. He had built his house on a 24,000 sq feet plot in 2002. It was his self acquired property. The situation is that I am the son of his first wife. Apparently my mother had expired in 1987 and my father had remarried in 1988. After his death I came to know that he had willed the property to my step mother and her son in a hand written will. Both of them are now in the possession of that property and exercise full right over it. My father also had another house which he had purchased in Mysore when my mother was alive. He had sold that house off and had given the money to my step mother. My step mother is also in the posession of my mother's jewellery which my mother's parents had given me. I had requested my step mother to hand over my mother's jewellery to me. Now I am married and have two sons. Do my sons or me have any right over my father's property or is there any scope to get some share out of it? Regards Abhinav Singh Bangalore
