How long does a civil land dispute case take in Jr Civil courts?

We bought a piece of land in 1996 and we have the original land documents . We also have the H.no and the electricity connection and also paying the taxes to the Municipal Corporation . The grandson of the property owner, who sold the land for us , now started claiming that his grandfather never sold the land and created fake documents registered in 1998 . He approached the court and got a status quo order in [deleted] . Since then there were several court hearings and arguments happened since then . We almost had 6 settlement hearings, but the opposition guy never turned up in any of the court session . The next date is on 03/05/2017. We want to construct a building in that land , we have the building permission till Sep 2017 , we kept on delaying hoping that we would get a judgement on every hearing or at-least cancel the status quo order .We have been waiting for more than 1.5 years since then. The advocate who is representing our case says go ahead and start the construction work , if they file a case for obligating the status quo i shall take care of it in the court , we do not need to worry as we have all the original documents , http://H.no and electricity bills and paying taxes too. 1. Is it suggestible to go ahead and start the construction (Permission expiring in Sep 2017) 2.What would be the scenarios for obligating the court status quo order . 3. How long might the case take to get the judgment as it is still in the settlement stage . 4.How many settlement chances does the court provide (so far we had 6 but the client dint turn up in any of those). 5. Is there a chance to expedite the case .(Jr. Civil Courts Case)? . Please let me know if you need any other info . I shall update them .
