House under Paghadi System
Sir/Madam, We are residing in Paghadi House in Mumbai for which rent receipt is issued in the name of my Grand Mother, She died in March 1989 and in 2015 My Grandpa is also died. Now still rent receipt is issued in the name of my grand ma. My uncles are not giving their NOCs. The Landlord is saying they wish to transfer the rent receipt in the name of of my father(we are residing with the my grandpaa and uncles has separate houses since inception where they are residing) but unable to do so there case is their in high court pending with fight with builder as he has given token money for acquisition of the property ..... I would like to know whether in case 1. where case is pending with high court whether it is not possible to transfer name in rent receipt (please spell out situations) 2. As per Rent Control Act, the tenant has to write letter for transfer of rent receipt to Owner and if she refused to do what is procedure as per rules, circulars and notification to transfer rent receipt 3. Whether RTI can be used to fasten the work when there is delay by court to sent notices and to make it compulsion to landlord to transfer rent receipt.
