Refund issue from builder after non delivery and scrapping projec

Hi, I booked an apartment in Greater Noida near Halduani Mor in 2012 with Ekdant Buildtech. I paid 20% of the payment money. However, construction never started after prolonged excuses and delay. Now the builder has scrapped the project and started plotting over it. We have been chasing for the refund of our vested money but there is not satisfactory response from their end and they keep on extending their verbally committed date. They have stopped responding formally to any of our communication (email/letter). It's been an year since I sent them a letter of cancellation on their coaxing that the payment will be processed with in three months of your request. Since they have started plotting over that land, I afraid that they will vanish after spinning money from plotting. The directors and the employees hardly entertain their previous clients. Many of this project Victims have filled petition in District Court for last 1 year but there is no luck yet. I am looking out here for help to earn back my hard earned money. Please suggest me the way out to get my money in the shortest possible legal way. I might need a lawyer to take my case further. Please help me out.
