Get information of code of civil procedure 1908 act section 340

Namste sir/madam, I am from rajkot I would like to get some legal information from you. my old house which was more than 68 years old and in rickety & dangerous condition. Municipal corporation issued us notice to remove this old & dilapidated building. When I demolished my building, my neighbour file suit in court for stay order & damage to his property. (damage in 4 plastic roof) Which is illegal constructed without followed the rules of GDCR. (Land development rule) I have demolished my building. My court case detail are as under. Court name :- civil & small causes court rajkot. Under act :- code of civil procedure -1908 under section 340 Stage of case :- plaintiff evidence Now I would like to know that... 1) what is meaning of plaintiff evidence? 2) if I file complaint in municipal corporation for illegal construction of petitioner (my neighbour) does corporation body has right to take an action against him? can they take action during the court case matter
