Land Acquisition

Hello, We bought a property through registered deed and mutation, which later came under govt acquisition for construction of a highway. Consequently, the govt declared a compensation on the land. At this time, few people filed a suit that a large peice of this land (under which our plot also lies) is their ancestoral property, and hence the compensation amount should be theirs. The property had one other registered owner before we bought the same. The first seller of the land, who sold it further claimed to have the Legal Will making him the owner, which is nowhere to be found after the case was filed (possibly a deal was struck to divide the compensation amount if he does not reveal the Will). Also to note that most of the land owners in our area reside here since last 10-15 years, but the case was filed only when the govt declared a compensation on the land around 4 years ago. What could be the outcomes of this scenario? Our processing was legit, and we have all attested proofs of ownership and transfer. What would be the outcome in thsi scenario. The said Land under dispute has around 30 individual plots/ properties?
