Diagnosing orthopedic patient as psychiatric patient

Respected sir I had leg unsteadiness and weakness, back pain and low back pain in 2014 and I consulted a doctor ( physical medicine and rehabilitation)in a private hospital in Bangalore. After physical evaluation doctor told me that there is no medical explanation for my physical difficulties and told me to go to psychiatry department. i told him that i do not have any life stressors which can cause leg weakness and other symptoms. I was studying at that time and wanted to write exam the next week. Then he told I need psychiatric treatment and my symptoms are because of exam stress and started talking to me rudely and sarcastically. He referred me to psychiatry department. Next week I consulted an another doctor (orthopedic surgeon) and after evaluation and several blood tests, he diagnosed me to have Seronegative spondyloarthropathy with chronic myofascial pain syndrome. After undergoing regular medication and physiotherapy i am experiencing 100 % improvement. My illness caused severe disability and i had to undergo 2 and half years of treatment. There is clear medical explanation for all the symptoms I experienced.I am normal student who is good in studies. When the doctor told me that my condition is psychiatric and I need psychiatric treatment, it hurted and insulted me. When I was not ready to go to psychiatrist, he became very rude.Being labelled as a psychiatric patient will create so many problems in personal and social lives. Can i give complaint against this doctor for medical negligence? what is the procedure to be followed for this case? Kindly reply.
