Asalamualiakum, Dear Sir, I request your good self to take trouble to read the following content, Dear Sir in 2013 jkpsc invited applications for asst. Prof in the department of higher education. The same were readvitised in 2014, which not prolonged the selection process but made situation tight for those who applied in 2013. As per ugc guidelines candidates having net/set, PhD were eligible for the post. Due to high number of applicants jkpsc adopted short list criteria, in some subjects it was based on pg marks percentage and in few screening was conducted to shortlist, the criteria is already prescribed by the psc. Can I candidate seek legal intervention for being short listed or at least given an opportunity to prove his ability in interview or interviewed on the grounds that as per ugc guidelines he is eligible, on the day of screening he or she was not well which affected his or her performance. Can court give him or her consideration on the grounds that she has highest academic qualifications and fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by ugc, and is to overage and is already serving in the department on contractual bases. She has also positive comments and feed back from principles under whom she worked. Kindly guide me in this regard. Can we seek court intervention to be called for personality test/interview. Thanks I hope your good self will respond me asap. Thanks
