Offence committed on journey or voyage
When an offence is committed, whilst the person by or against whom, or the thing in respect of which, the offence is committed is in the course of performing a journey or voyage, the offence may be inquired into or tried by a Court through or into whose local jurisdiction that person or thing passed in the course of that journey or voyage.

Place of trial where act is offence by reason of relation to other offence
When an act is an offence by reason of its relation to any other act which is also an offence or which would be an offence if the doer were capable of committing an offence, the first-mentioned offence may be inquired into or tried by a Court within whose local jurisdiction either act was done.

Judgment in cases tried summarily
In every case tried summarily in which the accused does not plead guilty, the Magistrate shall record the substance of the evidence and a judgment containing a brief statement of the reasons for the finding.

Record in summary trials
In every case tried summarily, the Magistrate shall enter, in such form as the Stale Government may direct, the following particulars, namely-
- the serial number of the case;
- the date of the commission of the offence;
- the date of the report of complaint;
- the name of the complainant (if any);
- the name, parentage and residence of the accused;
- the offence complained of and the offence (if any) proved, and in cases coming under clause (ii), clause (iii) or clause (iv) of Sub-Section (1) of section 260, the value of the property in respect of which the offence has been committed;
- the plea of the accused and his examination (if any);
- the finding;
- the sentence or other final order;
- the date on which proceedings terminated.

Offence triable where act is done or consequence ensues
When an act is an offence by reason of anything which has been done and of a consequence which has ensued, the offence may be inquired into or tried by a Court within whose local jurisdiction such thing has been done or such consequence has ensued.
