Special reasons to be recorded in certain cases
Where in any case the Court could have dealt with,
- an accused person under section 360 or under the provisions of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958), or
- a youthful offender under the Children Act, 1960 (60 of 1960), or any other law for the time being in force for the treatment, training or rehabilitation of youthful offenders,
but has not done so, it shall record in its judgment the special reasons for not having done so.

Treatment of victims1
All hospitals, public or private, whether run by the Central Government, the State Government, local bodies or any other person, shall immediately, provide the first-aid or medical treatment, free of cost, to the victims of any offence covered under section 326A, 376, 376A, 376B, 376C, 376D or section 376E of the Indian Penal Code, and shall immediately inform the police of such incident.

Compensation to be in addition to fine under Section 326A or Section 376D of Indian Penal Code1
The compensation payable by the State Government under section 357A shall be in addition to the payment of fine to the victim under section 326A or section 3760 of the Indian Penal Code.

Metropolitan Magistrate’s Judgment
Instead of recording a judgment in the manner hereinbefore provided, a Metropolitan Magistrate shall record the following particulars, namely:
- the serial number of the case;
- the date of the commission of the offence;
- the name of the complainant (if any);
- the name of the accused person, and his parentage and residence;
- the offence complained of or proved;
- the plea of the accused and his examination (if any);
- the final order;
- the date of such order;
- in all cases in which an appeal lies from the final order either under section 373 or under Sub-Section (3) of section 374, a brief statement of the reasons for the decision.
