• Ex husband harassing me

Sir

My ex husband has posted our very privately shot videos on porn sites. These videos are trending big time and has already got 20lacs views. Its harassing and provoking me for suicide. I have lodged a police complaint 3 years bac but nothing is happening. He seems to bribe everyone. Pls advise!!

Earlier while our divorce battle was on he had emailed my private pics to my colleagues. That time too I took an action and lodged an FIR. He was arrested. But I took back the case on his petition to court that he would never repeat this. Soon after the divorce he did it again this time on a much larger scale.

you must file a case under the information technology act and also under section 354 C and 354 D IPC. these are non bailable and cognizable offence. you should take a soft copy of that video and pics.

you can file FIR or directly file a complaint along with evidence.

It is clear case of cyber crime,

Immediately lodge complaint with police whereby the police would not only arrest him but stop circulation of video as well.

Made a fresh complaint as it is fresh case.

Dear Concerned,

This is an highly objectionable act and a strict action can be taken against this person. Kindly file a Police complaint without delay , this will be filed under IPC 354 C and D and other criminal provisions being an intentional act.

You may choose to speak with a lawyer with full confidence and assist you in the entire process. Also do mention the previous instances in the FIR (previous FIR) which would create an additional charge on him. Additionally please bear the fact that the damage he wanted to do to you has already happened and hence he should be the one to be punished severely for this.

Kindly feel free to have a free consultation on subject.

Best of Luck. Stay Blessed.

Since there is police inaction you can file a private criminal complaint in the court of the competent magistrate to seek binding directions to the police to perform its duty. It is an offence which carries an imprisonment of up to 3 years on conviction. This apart, you may also file a civil suit to seek damages against her on account of loss occasioned to your reputation.

This time also you should vigorously follow the case through police.

If the police are reluctant or showing lethargy towards this then you may approach the commissioner of police or other top police officer about this and also issue a legal notice for defamation and demand heavy sum as compensation.
