• Wife took away twin girl 2 yr daughters without informing me, I was out of India for work

My wife took away my 2 yrs old twin daughters without informing me or any of my family members while I was out of India for.work.
Her exact address is unknown. I heard from her family members that she has admitted them to some boarding school and working there.
She did not pickup my calls for last 4.5 months and I couldn't see my daughter's or hear them all this while.
Her parents are insensitive to all this and seems non supportive all the way.

  1. As a father,  you are the natural guardian of your kids. So you must first of all lodge a police complaint against your wife for kidnapping and abduction of your children as they have been taken away by her, without your consent or kknowledge & without any family court order granting her the custody of the children.  For police investigation, you can provide the address of your wife which you know of (one obviously your own address and the other, her parents address).
  2. You must also move the family court for appropriate matrimonial remedies and custody and guardianship petition for your children. Which matrimonial remedies best suits your purpose can only be adviced on exhaustive consultation session with you. You have to visit me for such exhaustive consultation.
  3. I'm based in NaviMumbai /Mumbai just as you are, so it shouldn't be much of an issue for you to visit me for such exhaustive consultation

If you do not know the whereabouts of your wife and children then you can give a man missing complaint with the police and follow it up with a haebus corpus petition to be filed before high court.

After she is appearing before high court in the HCP case, you can plan to file child custody case with an application for visitation rights as an interim relief

Dear Client,

File a missing person’s report for your daughters with the local police station. Provide all the details you have, including the last known location and any information about the boarding school. Approach the family court and file a petition for custody of your daughters. Given their young age, the court will consider what is in the best interests of the children. Engaging a lawyer specializing in family law is important in order to guide you through these legal processes and represent your interests in court. Should you require any further explanation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
