Hello i am Us citizen i want to give general power of attorney to my daughter who is also us citizen (oci Card Holder)to manage my property in delhi how can i do that i live in newyork my daughter lives in washington if i need to 2 witbess do they need to be indian can i get my power of attorney notorized in washington .does my daughter habe right to sell the property

Yes you can do that and we can do agreement to see on the basis of general power of attorney. We deal internationally also so we can manage the sale from newyork also and Washington also. Anyway we can deal . Document has to be notarized in India for to be used in India.

You can execute POA in favour your daughter to manage the property 

 

witness need not be Indian 

 

daughter cannot sell property unless POA contains clause authorising her to do so 

 

get POA attested before Indian consulate

A NRI  cannot give power of attorney to another NRI  to carry out transactions in respect of immovable property in India. 

You may have to give power of attorney deed in favor any resident Indian alone.
