you need your husband consent to change your child surname . without his consent surname cannot be changed
Change of name of my minor child
My name is Mrs Gita Saran and I want to add one additional n in my child's surname and make it as Karishma Sarann. She is presently 4 1/2 years old. is there will be any legal complications in future. Is such different spelling of surname between parents and child is acceptable in India?

the surname should be same as that of parents . how can child surname be different from that of parents ?
