• I would like sue Amazon for refund delay

Hi Team, 

I have purchased a product and amazon sent me damaged product two times. And finally asked for refund. As it was a COD i have asked the money to be added to my Amazon Wallet while cancelling the product. But i started following the refund after 20 days and i came to know that they have sent me a cheque to wrong person and it was delivered. Then when i spoke to CS team they asked me to wait for 10 days. I called again after 10 days again i was asked to wait for 10 more days. So i want to challenge Amazon in consumer court for their broken SLA for the refund. Please help, if anyone could really do this to support me.

File complaint against company before consumer forum seek refund of money paid by you with interest 

 

also claim litigation costs and compensation for mental torture undergone by you 

 

if amount involved is substantial then only file case as litigation costs would be more than compensation awarded

Before approaching the consumer court for the desired relief, you may first issue a legal notice demanding your reliefs, which would be an opportunity to the opposite party to comply with your demands made immediately and to avoid the litigation expenses, time and energy if the opposite party is reacting immediately.

If not you can approach consumer forum because you have strong evidence to prove the case against them.

Tweeting to the firm is not a legal action, instead sending a legal notice neatly drafted by yourself and sent to them in writing would attract a proper response from them, hence you may proceed as suggested or you can do whatever you feel would be better than this.

Such goof-ups do happen in any organisation in the service industry. Usually, Amazon's refund policy and method are sound, in online transactions, in my own personal experience. In your case, as it was on CoD basis, the delay and mix-up would have occurred. Don't stretch things too far. Move on, please.

You can file case in consumer forum for deficiency of service and sue Amazon. First send legal notice to amazon and if they did not respond properly then you can file case.

- Being a consumer , you have your right to claim refund and compensation for sending wrong items .

- You can lodge your compliant through email of amazon customer care , and if no response then send a legal notice to the head office of the amazon. 

- Further, you can dragged the official of the amazon after filing a compliant before the consumer forum of your area , and claim heavy compensation for the mental harassment . 

- Since, that amount is not high , then you can also file your complaint without engaging any lawyer for the same.
