• Undivided property interest

I have 1/6 ownership in property. I and my brother are looking to sell our ownership as one owner of six shares refuses to move to sell/divide property. Property is located in Bastrop County, Texas outside of Austin. Do you have any investors looking to buy undivided interest? Property is in very desirable location with its proximity to Austin, Texas. Thank you.

- If you having 1/6 th share in the property , and property layout is not declared then you cannot sell your share .

- Hence, firstly execute Partition deed after giving the details of portion under the ownership of you and brother. 

- However, if you both are agree for selling the same, then legally you can transfer that property in the name of purchaser.

Dear Sir

It would be most advisable to sell your share to another shareholder or to take the consent of the other shareholders before selling your share to a new person.

However since the undivided property is located in the US, it would be best to consult an American real estate attorney as laws are different from in India.
