NO.
You need to Delete your whatsapp msg for both the parties,as there is 2 options for deleting a particular msg, and also need to check whether there was any Auto Backup on or not.
If I delete messages on my iPhone will those messages be deleted on my whatspp on my other device?
I need to know if I went through my Whatspp and deleted a conversation...Will that conversation be deleted on all my other devices?? Permantly
NO.

If you delete message on what’s app on your I phone messages would be deleted on other connected devices
If the other person has already seen it and the service provider is not giving you the option of deleting from both ends then it can not be done.
Even if messages are erased from handset forensically it can be recovered.
If the messages posted by you are deleted within certain period they can be deleted from receivers phone also. Messages can be deleted permanently from sender’s and receiver’s phone if they are within for hours from whatsapp and six hours from facebook.
Your question is purely technical one. With the help of developed technologies the messages can recover from any device. But the whatsapp company assured that the messages are under End to End encryption.
In Indian courts, WhatsApp chats are viewed as an electronic record and are permissible as a conventional document.
There are some conditions which should be satisfied for the admissibility of WhatsApp messages as Evidence:
Bombay High Court held SMS/WhatsApp messages to be allowable under the Court of law under Section 65 of Indian Evidence Act, in the case of SBI Cards and Payment Services Pvt Ltd. versus Rohidas Yadav,. The Court held that messages sent through WhatsApp chats are viewed as legitimate Evidence under the law. The blue tick in WhatsApp is legitimate evidence that the Respondent has acknowledged the communication's physical copy. The recent judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in the matter of Arjun Panditrao Khotkar v. KailashKushanrao Gorantyal and others (2020) 7 SCC 1 has held that a certificate Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act is required when reliance is being placed upon electronic record. Therefore, the said message would be of no evidentiary value as on date
WhatsApp messages are primarily device based.
In my opinion the WhatsApp messages found in another device cannot be deleted by deleting messages in some other device.
The WhatsApp or text messages are not interconnected from one device to another hence the act of deleting the messages in one device will not automatically delete the messages of other devices.
Dear Sir/Ma'am
Watsapp chat once deleted in you account attached a particular mobile number gets deleted on that particular account in all other devices. For example if you delete a chat in your watsapp on mobile, the same will also be deleted on your other device if you login with the same mobile no in another device and also if you log in through watsapp web. But to get rid of all data permanently you should also delete watsapp data stored as backup in your google drive.
Thank you
- As per rule , the messages not depend upon the device , but on the server of the whatsApp.
- Hence, if you deleted the messages on your iPhone , then it means that it removed from the whatsApp , whether this is used in more than one device.
- Further, after sending your messages , other persons already download the same /seen then you cannot erase the same from his device.
- However, these days there is facility to delete the messages for everyone , which you can activate on your mobile.
- Further, you can also recover the delete messages as well .
1. It is a technical question.
2. However, the whatsapp message will be shown in other phones/devices unless it is deleted immediately after sending it and in that case you shall be asked whether you want it to be deleted from your phone or the recipients' phones also.
