Buying back agricultural land again
I used to possess agricultural land 1996 till 2012 along with brothers. After selling that peace of land in Maharashtra - I never bought back any other land . Now I am trying to buy agricultural land again but old 7-12 shows that I have sold previous land.i got advise saying that name on 7-12 should be current to buy new land. I don’t have the agriculturist certificate. What options do i have to add my name on 7-12. My brother currently owns agricultural land in his name and willing to help.

It is pertinent or essential to be an agriculturist or from a farmer background in to purchase agricultural land in Maharashtra.
You can obtain a certificate from the revenue department based on your previous agricultural records and also obtain a certificate for a member of family having agricultural background.
This may enable you to buy agricultural land.
You can buy agricultural land in states where it is not necessary to be an agriculturist to buy agricultural land .obtain agriculturist certificate
2) on basis of said certificate you can buy agricultural land in Maharashtra
If you do not own at present at present then such certificate is not possible.
