Since you have followed the legal process to replace the lost original sale to replace the same by a certified copy,  you may apply for bank loan by producing the copies of all the relevant documents.

Additionally,  you may be asked by bank to provide indemnity bond for sanctioning the requested home loan   you may comply with all such further requirements accordingly.

1. The bank should accept the certified copy on the basis of police complaint and newspaper publication.

2. There is nothing more you could have done.

If the original deed is lost then lodge missing complaint with Police and make a newspaper publication as well.  Thereafter you can apply for loan on the basis of its certified copy.

You have taken all the steps necessary. Please obtain a certified copy of the document from the sub-registrar's office. Take out an encumbrance certificate and verify the entries. The FIR copy, the non-traceable certificate, the certified title deed and the EC will be good enough to establish your title and ownership legally.
