wont be an issue
I have purchased a property from a person named Mr. Prasad. When I went for a bank loan, they noticed that, the person who sold property to Mr. Prasad, had her husband name incorrectly written (like Rani w/o Ranga Rao instead of Rani w/o of Ranga) in the document registered in 1988 while buying. Except this, rest of the documents are all clear. Based on the suggestion of the bank, I gave an ad in a news paper through an advocate and asked for objections if any. I did not get any objections and my advocate confirmed the same to the bank authorities. My question/doubt is, would this be a problem for me in future while selling the property? Please clarify.

Lawyers are available now to answer your questions.
1. It is a very minor omission i.e. in place of Ranga Rao her husband's name has been mentioned as Ranga.
2. You are not likely to face any problem in future for the said omission.
This is certainly a legal obstacle.
Since you have an opportunity to rectify the mistake you can approach your vendor to get the registered rectification deed rectifying the error now found by the bank.
