Dear Sir,

If you are doing such venture on large scale then you need permission from Deputy Commissioner by way of converting such piece of land into non-commercial by way of speaking order.

A temporary activity wherein no permanent structures will be built can be carried out without any permission.

1. Agriculture remains a highly regulated sector in India, with various government agencies having supervisory powers. Regulatory controls are imposed by both central and state governments.

Under the provisions of the law in India, fertile agricultural land could only be used for agricultural purposes and nothing else. To use it for a purpose other than that i.e. residential, commercial or industrial use, the owner has to seek an approval from the authorities concerned and change the “land use.

2.  The temporary structure may not serve your purpose. Moreover since it is an agricultural land, the temporary structure also may attract sore eyes of the authority concerned.

Instead of keeping a constant vigil over the eventuality in case of going ahead with your proposal to use the vacant land, better apply for formal permission to convert the land to NA and then with the plan approved, you can go ahead with the proposed  activity.
