No you can't get past educational documents or certificates updated, however any new documents and Pan, Aadhaar, Passport can be updated as per Aishabi Document.

So according her aadhar and pan card you can update her name "Aishabi" in your passport.

See you can mention her name as per educational certificates and further for birth certificate you can make an affidavit stating that her complete name was not mentioned in birth certificate and Aisha and Aishabi is same person.

1. Based on Education Documents, Birth Certificate, Aadhar & PAN card, you will still be able to have "Aishabi" as mother's name in your Passport.

2. You may be required to give an affidavit declaring the permanent name of mother, that you perceive as correct.

3. The prefix of "bi" is added as a mark of female respect and this you can explain in your affidavit.

- As per law, you can change/correct the name of mother in your educational certificate within a period of maximum 2 years from the date of passing the said qualification.

- Since, your mothers name is Aishabi in all educational certificate , hence on the ground of 10th certificate , you can apply for passport with that name legally.

-  As per Passports new rule passed on 23.12.2016 , now earlier direction has been removed , wherein it was direction that all the applicants born on or after 26/01/1989, in order to get a passport, had to, hitherto, mandatorily submit the Birth Certificate as the proof of Date of Birth (DOB)

- Now Transfer/School leaving/Matriculation Certificate issued by the school last attended/recognised educational board is admissible for providing age proof.

- Further , after moving an application for correction before the birth Registrar , you can correct her name in the birth certificate as well.

Hello!

When you are going to fill the application, you would be given a list of documents that are accepted as valid proof of Date of Birth and Address.

Birth certificate is just one of such proofs of date of birth besides the other documents such as Aadhar, School passing certificate, voter ID, PAN card etc.

Just make sure you submit all the documents were you mother's name is "Aishabi".

So yes, the documents that you have are suffice.

Best wishes.

That would be sufficient. The name in your birth certificate will not be seen as the name on your educational certificates is important.

1. Your education documents coupled with the adhaar and PAN of your mother shall suffice to get the name  'Aishabi' incorporated in your passport.

2. If, however, the RPO does not agree to incorporate the said name then you may file a writ petition in the High Court to direct RPO to do it,

Educational documents will suffice and work, use high school /higher secondary  certificate for date of birth because if you go to change in birth certificate then it will be a longer process and very difficult.

You need to get an affidavit made stating that both the names are of one and the same person. Get the affidavit made on a non-judicial paper of Rs 20 value and get it notarized.

The education documents having her name as desired by you shall suffice the requirement.

You don't be worried about the name as is mentioned in the birth certificate.

Birth certificate is no more required to be produced for applying for passport.

The educational certificate copy is more than enough
