Following rule is regarding maternity leave mentioned in the institute "Married Research Scholars admitted to the Research program of the Institute shall, in addition to casual leave and medical leave prescribed by foregoing sub-Para, be entitled to maternity/paternity leave as per Government of India rules if the request for the leave is supported by a medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner. The Head of the Department/School will be the sanctioning authority in such cases." However, no any clear cut rule or guideline is given by Institute regarding mess and hostel fees during maternity leave period.
