Wife is eligible for maintenance after divorce. She is not eligible for share in property.

Hi, she will not get right in the property she will ask for maintenance.

1)wife does not get any share in husband property . she can get only maintenance .

2) if wife does not want divorce she should contest the divorce proceedings

1. Wife does not qualify in law to get any share in the property of her husband. She is eligible to maintenance/alimony alone.

2. If she does not want to give divorce then she has the option of contesting the divorce case filed by her husband.

alimony is decided on the basis of status of the family
