I am harassed by a person to give police statement
Please suggest can i refuse to give statement regarding my own abortion to police. Because a female has put FIR against his husband that he got my abortion done and police has asked for my statement in it.

Please help me to come out of this. The police officials sent notice at home, asking me to come and give statement in the police station. I am feeling helpless.

PLease note I have not given any complaint, neither complaint is against me. I am asked to give statement in the a case where some other female has put complaint against his husband. I am legally divorced lady. living with my 9 year old daugter.
