I just wanted to build a function hall in my hometown I'am searching a land for it and i got one. It is of 1.18 acre and in it a petrol bunk is already build with 115*115 feet,will i able to construct a banquet/Function hall beside that as I needed to build a kitchen for my function hall ? second question what are the permissions to be taken and from how many departments should i get it ? Hi, if it is a agricultural land you have to get the permission for CLU ( change of land use) from the town and country planning department
You have to take permission to construct this commercial property from the development authority without the approval from Development Authority over and not be able to get the power and water supply.
You have to pay the municipal taxes for the commercial property
You need to have building plans sanctioned by muncipal corporation

1) For building Function hall, you need to comply with conditions stipulated in G.O Ms. No 168 dated Dated: 07.04.2012 and G.O.Ms.No.119,Dt.[deleted]-AP Building Rules-2017-Edited.
2) The minimum site area should be 2000 square meters or 21527.82 square feet and the approach road width should be 40 feet.
3) Since your site is of 51400 square feet and in that there is already a petrol bunk admeasuring 13225 square feet, you can plan and apply for building permission for a function hall.
4) Parking area should be in the range of 25- 30% of built up area
5) Building permission should be obtained from Director, Town Planning through your municipality.
6) Fire safety permission under AP State Disaster Response Act and Fire Services Act should be obtained.
7) For Kitchen permission, you should obtainA health trade license from municipality
