I worked for 2 months in private company last year. I resigned by email without getting relieving letter. Its been a year since then, and there has been no communication from either side. Now i am selected in psu, will hiding previous employment cause any problem? ( I am also hiding UAN number)

If you hide the details then the PSU will get a new UAn number for you and in that case you will be having two UAN number. Since it was a private employment and if you are not breaching any terms of the contract with the previous employee then you may take the chance of not telling the previous employment.

It can be safely suggested that since you have already intimated them through an email stating.your resignation , it implies that you have tendered your resignation and in spite of the fact that you have not received your relieving letter, you are not at fault. Now the only question which comes to our understanding is whether the new job requires relieving letter or a statement.to.the effect.that you were employed somewhere.
No problem at all bith the things are different. If you submit UAN or not. Better you check whether you 2 months account is active or not. Because private companies deposit amount aftwr six months.

No problem what you are hiding hide it and forget for ever that you have hide something.Two month's employment or more months employment does not mean anything, important is benefit of which period you wants to gain. It is you give or not to give any detail but if there is disciplinary or criminal proceedings initiated then there is problem otherwise not.

Even if your resignation not duly served, no complications, PSU appointment has nothing to do with it. If previous experience is counting for this job, than only need to disclose otherwise not.
it depends on you. Ideally it is your duty to reveal if asked. if you reveal you may get into trouble. you need to take risk in the same.

The PSU in no way will be concerned about your private employment especially when you were employed only for two months, hence it will make any impact to the current job.

Was there any column in the form to mention about the details of previous employment?
Since you are not going to claim any benefits of previous employment, just ignore this.
You should disclose your previous employment as material suppression of fact can lead to strict disciplinary action against you.
Not giving of UAN number is not going to be of any help in your case.
