Hi, it is advisable to file a civil suit for declaration in court .. The civil court can pass a decree in your favour, upon which you can get the land/ plot mutated on your name
1. Since the land falls within the Municipality area recording of name in BLLRO records is not compulsory.
2. Since it is within the Rajpur Sonapur Municipality you will be allotted with premises number of holding number in either of which event you do not need to get BLLRO records.
3. So since your mutation is done you need not bother about any other number.
File for RTI and seek explanation. Complaint to superior Officer for discrepancy. If still your Matter is not resolved you need to file writ petition in HC.
BLRO mutation records on the present owner name is essential for various facilities namely , electricity connection, water supply, bank loans etc.
Hence you approach your vendor to facilitate the mutation of revenue records to your name.
Mutation of your name in the records of the BLLRO office is very important. However, it is the duty of the BLLRO office to take appropriate steps for mutation once an application in the said respect is received. If the concerned BLLRO office is not completing the mutation process, you can approach the Hon'ble High Court under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, for redressal of your grievances.
