1. Every person who is a party to a dispute in a court of law is entitled to produce evidence to substantiate his case. However, it is essential that the relevant documentary proof should have been obtained in a manner which is in consonance with the law. You cannot commit theft of a confidential document and produce it in the court. So you are free to prosecute her for theft.
