• Individual charged an amount to provide material for preparation of exams

Hello, 
I am Neha Nupur and I am preparing for UGC NET JRF. I got a contact on Youtube and through messages from Anurag Sharma who claimed to provide material notes and pdfs. Hand made material and all. I paid 7500 for the course. He started sending audio files which was of low content quality that too at 10.30 in the night. There qas no level of teaching. When i asked for a refund he refused. I asked him to deduct the amount whatever he wants and then give me a refund but he refused. And now its 10 days he didnt send any notes. I just want my money back. I arranged it with lot difficulty. Please help me

Hello,

Filing and pursuing the case at this juncture will take a lot of time and money.

You may send him a legal notice and see if he responds and refunds your money after the legal notice.

If you take legal proceedings to recover Rs 7500 expenses would be far more than amount sought to be recovered

2) you can file Police complaint under section 420 of IPC if you have been cheated by the accused

Send him a legal notice to get your refund.

Take a legal recourse against him, if he does not abides with the legal notice.

You need to collect the information terms and conditions on which you he is liable to supply the study material. You would be required to send him a legal notice through advocate demanding the repayment stating that he has committed fraud upon on. In addition to that you can also make report to cyber cell Nagpur of online fraud and cheating. This will creat a pressure on him and he will return your money

It was your fault to believe such fraudsters without verifying their veracity or genuineness.,

There are plenty of such conman doing great business cheating innocent people like you but nothing can be done on them since they will go underground after earning a good amount.

If you have his address you can give a complaint with the police about this cheating and fraudulent act against the fraudster.
