Dear Sir,

It is very easy. The procedure as prescribed Govt. of New Delhi is as follows. You may read and appreciate. The relevant link is provided here under for your ready reference.

Marriage Certificate and Registration

A marriage which has already been solemnised can be registered either under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 or under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. The Hindu Marriage Act is applicable in cases where both husband and wife are Hindus, Buddhists, Jains or Sikhs or where they have converted into any of these religions. Where either of the husband or wife or both are not Hindus, Buddhists, Jains or Sikhs the marriage is registered under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.

Further, marriage can be solemnised between any two persons under the provisions of the Special Marriage Act, 1954.

1. A few photographs of the marriage along with the marriage invitation card are required to be annexed along with the application form. Nothing else is required.

2. The marriage certificate will be issued the next day.

3. Unless the marriage is solemnized you cannot apply for registration, hence there is no question of taking appointment before marriage.

Your work will be done on the same day itself and most possibly you will get the marriage certificate on the same day or on the next day.

Your lawyer can then provide you with the certificate

1. You have to check with the marriage registrar that whether your marriage can be registered in Delhi while the marriage has taken place in Haryana, in any case marriage under Hindu marriage act cannot be registered in advance neither a notice can be given in this regard before the marriage is solemnised.

2. The documents for marriage registration are generally the wedding invitation card, address proofs and age proofs of both, witnesses with their identity documents and any other other local requirements.

3. Getting the marriage certificate on the same day may not be possible, but you can certainly get it on the next working day even if you have registered under ordinary scheme.

Notarized by gazetted officer

You have to get the documents attested by a gazetted office or a notary public

You can register the intended marriage in Meerut also if you have address proof of that address.
