Yeah information to Income Tax Department amounts only information that does not amount any petition in case you are looking for any petition you should have some solid ground to file a petition in the court without a solid ground your pretty Shin will be rejected on the first hearing
File an application with Commissioner of Income Tax so that proper investigation and raid can be conducted by the department. You have the knowledge about disproportionate income and non-disclosure of the same but that needs to be verified by the income tax department. Also file an RTI to get the status of your application. Had there been acceptance on their part in any claim/police complaint/FIR that they are having such undisclosed income then you could have directly filed the Tax Evasion Petition. In case you wish to proceed further with the issue kindly contact me for drafting and pursuing the case further.
There are lawyers on this site, not sure about CAs. You are free to engage any lawyer from this portal.
