File a police complaint for using abusive words and causing nuisance in the public.

Your neighbour is liable to be booked for criminal intimidation.

Lodge a FIR against him under sections 503, 506 IPC.

To create evidence, use a spy camera to capture the abusive behavior of this neighbor.

Collect the evidences against the neighbor and subsequently file a complaint with the police station.

He will be charged under sec 504 of IPC amongst others.

2. Even if you do not have any digital evidence, File complaint with Deputy commissioner of police of your jurisdiction.

Making verbal abuses with threat of causing harm is a criminal offence for which you can lodge complaint with police and then file case in the court under section 500,506 of IPC.

Go to the police and file a complaint against them for defamation , if police don't support you as they might use their status to save themselves then you can opt for filing a criminal complaint case against them under section 506IPC for defamation.

If they abuse you in a vulgar language and create nuisance every day you may lodge a police complaint against them

If the local police do not take any action then you may approach the higher police officer of the city and if there is no relief even to that then you may approach judicial magistrate court with a private complaint seeking direction to police to initiate proper legal action on this
