• Gift deed charges in Pune from parent to son

We would like to know the stamp duty and other charges for executing a gift deed in Pune, Maharashtra. This is for a flat to be transferred from my father to me. We also heard, there are some changes in Maharashtra on gift deed stamp duty, so we would like to know the current law and any amendment in near future.

Stamp duty on gift deed from father / mother to son attracts nominal stamp duty of Rs 200

as per Article 34 (Column 1.)

If the property is gifted to any person or in family relation, without any monetary consideration then the stamp duty is 5 % on true market value as applicable under article 34 (read with article 25) Maharashtra Stamp Act.

Hi, your query can be best resolved by the registrar office , Pune .. They are having recent update of the Changes in the stamp pee .. You will require a typist to prepare a gift deed , at the registrar ofiice .. He will prepare the gift deed as well they have vendors who will give you the stamp fee there only
