• Unhygienic disposal of animal waste in the vacant neighbour plot

Hello Sir/Madam, During Bakrid, many sheep were slaughtered and the waste was unhygienically disposed in the vacant plot next to my building with about 20 occupants. Since yesterday, the stinking smell is getting unbearable as well as breeding mosquitos. It also seems like with the rains, the decaying waste will combine with the ground water that runs in the taps of the flats and cause infections to the building occupants. It seems a very serious issue. Shall I file a complaint with the Corporation Office / Police Station / Green Tribunal, Kindly advise. thanking you,

Hello,

you will have to file a complaint with the corporation office, and those guys will take care of the same and will get it removed. I understand the problem you are going through but it will be resolved easily by one complaint to the municipal authorities.

1) file police complaint against unknown person for dumping animal waste

2) also file complaint with municipal corporation for unhygienic disposal of animal waste

3) if no action taken by municipal corporation file RTI application as to what action has been taken on your complaint

1. Well you may try filing a complaint with the corporation/police station but I am not willing to presume they will act against this due to obvious reasons.

2. Be that as it may, file a complaint to police and corporation, and if they do not remove the waste then file a writ petition in the High Court to seek binding directions to the corporation to remove the waste and also seek regulation of animal slaughtering. It is cruel what is done to animals in the first place on Id, but even if it is to be done it should be done only in some earmarked places.

Sir, click some pictures and file a complaint to the local municipal office so that they can clear it fast and consecutively also file a complaint in the green tribunal ..

You can submit an application before the corporation for this complaining the unbearable stench and he garbage creating health hazards including breeding of mosquitoes etc

Police have no role to play in this.

Similarly green tribunal also may not take cognizance of such complaints.
