• Resignation from public sector bank

Hello Counselors,
I am working in a public sector bank from more than three years. Now after seeing much discrimination and worse condition i decided to resign and gave my formal resignation on 3.7.17, notice period in our bank is three years but i had agreed upon 2 months and decided and agreed upo giving one month salary.
Sir it has been almost a month passed away but i neither received any acknowledgment from our PAD department nor anyone is ready to answer my questions on mail and telephone. I had already send two mails to know the status of my application but received no reply. I called them numerous times but instead got a mail stating you dont call us because it hinders our work (got the paper proof of everything)
Then after trying for almost everything i decided to file RTI to know who is reponsible after which i got a call from central office and they started threatning to withdraw RTI and its not professional and they can ruin my career.
Sir please advice what steps can i take because its getting worsen day by day and due to this i will also loose my opportunity to join any other organisation.

1. Sending letters will not do anymore.

2/ Since it is a public bank it is amenable to writ jurisdiction of the high court.

3.So better file a writ petition and seek necessary reliefs which under constitutional jurisdiction of high court can be provided in no time.

If employee cannot file RTI on employer why are they are forcing you to with draw your RTI application

In case any disciplinary proceedings are initiated against you then you should deny the allegations made and contest the case

You could be approaching the High Court against the inaction of the bank in not acting upon your complaint. Seek a writ of mandamus. However, before knocking the doors of the High Court, move a formal representation in your bank.

Have you tendered your resignation by sending the same by registered post with AD card or hav you handed over the same to the management under an acknowledgment from them?

Have you observed the rules regarding resignation as mentioned in the employment offer letter?

If yes is the answer to both the above questions then you may not worry about leaving the organisation on the date you have stipulated to leave and communicated to the management.

You can just handover your office assets to your immediate boss, get his acknowledgment and leave the office on the date stipulated in the resignation letter.
