• Can my parents force me to give them money?

When i was 18 i recieved compensation. My dad forced me and emotionally blackmailed me into giving him 14000 to pay one of his other properties off. Till this day he has never given me the money back like he promised and i am really struggling. Is there anything i can do to get my money back.

1.iIt was no one than your own father who took your money.

2.Do Not think of getting it back agaisnt his wish.

3.Feel yourself privileged to repay tiny part of debt which a son owe to his father.,ANY SON EVEN DO NOT GET THAT CHANCE.

4.Move On in life. blessings of parent is more important than their money.

that compensation was being ordered by the court. he is bound to obey that order. any deliberate action of the party to disobedient such order accrues contempt of court. in this situation you may file a contempt court proceeding against him.

if such compensation order was passed in guardian and wards act then you may file such suit before the district judge. if it was passed under section 125 crpc then you may file petition before the judicial magistrate. if matter is urgent and seed instant remedy then you should approach the high court under article 227 of the constitution of india.

What is the evidence you have to prove that you paid this amount to your father?

What is your age now

Why have you not taken any steps to recover the amount so far?

It will be barred by limitation if it is more than three years.

Consult a lawyer in the local and proceed as per his further advice.
