• Job termination, for crime filed after joining

I have joined my job on 30/01/2017. If husband of woman involved, file FIR on me now in may or june for adultary which happened on 25/01/2017 will it terminate my job? after than m i eligible for other govt. job ?

Adultery case can be filed by husband if you had physical relationship with his wife without his consent

2) if you are convicted of offence then you would lose your job

3) mere pendency of criminal case would not result in termination of your employment

Just a mere FIR cannot be a reason for terminating your service.

The police have to file a charge sheet, the trial will be conducted, the court has to decide if you are guilty of the offences charged and if the court convicts you with imprisonment sentence, then you may have chances to lose your job.

It will take long time, by which many scenarios will change, hence dont be under any worries for the present.
