It is an offence with no provision for statutory right to bail.

Hello,

Please see the prevention of atrocities on SC/ST Act for reference. In case you use derogatory words for a SC/ST in a place which is at public view then it's an offence.

The SC/ST can file a complaint or lodge an FIR to the police regarding the incident and as per the provisions of the above Act, Anticipatory bail is not maintainable.

Further offences and ingredients are provided under the above act.

Thanks
