I was cheated with Country Vacations (Country Club) for 1 Lakh rupees in May 2015. They committed with false promises. But I have not used Country Vacations till now because of their false promises. Can I get me refund for what I paid (It was almost 2 years). Please help me. when I browse through these websites and forums, I am getting some hope.

What were you doing for 2 years ?
If you had been cheated you should have cancelled your booking and sought refund filed complaint before consumer forum and sought refund with interest

I have signed the document of them, the marketting guy tactically got my sign diverting in some other thing when explaining. Reason For I didn't open up last 2 years: I am from Chennai (tamil nadu), I bought this when I was in bangalore and I dont know Kanada and so I feels it hard to move the case legally. Anyhow I complained this to bank and asked them to stop payment, but they said as I was signed the document nothing can be done legally. Promises dishonored: 1. I have given additional 3 years as a complementary offer but in the agreement it was given as only 5 years. 2. But for my plan, Till 12 members(6A+6K) can be accompany by me and can stay with me in T2 cottage without any additional cost and fully on free of cost same as like membership holder. In the agreement, It was given as 2A+2K can only avail 6N/7D vacation. 3. For the paid amount of Rs.101000/- (One Lakh One Thousand Rupees) I would get membership which includes 1 Vacation card, 1 DAE card and 2 Club membership card for me and spouse. DAE card is for International travel, But it was not given to me. 4. Using this DAE card, I can travel Worldwide for 6N/7D for 8 (5+3) years with 12 members (6A+6K) with free of cost for lodging/stay excluding exchange fee. 5. If in Case, I could not use this travel vacation of 6N/7D for one or more than a year, I dont want to pay the AMC of Rs8500. 6. I have to pay AMC of Rs.8500/- only when I use 6D/7N vacations of that current year with Country club resorts or associated resorts. If I am travelling abroad using DAE then I have to pay only exchange fee and I don’t want to pay AMS of Rs.8500/-. Please confirm this. 7. For my plan, 2 Club membership card is life time card and I don’t want to pay AMC cost of 8500/- till lifetime. Example: If I have not paid AMC of 8500/- between any of 5 years, even then I can use the Club membership and I can use all amenities as membership holder. Please confirm this Club membership policy.

Immediately issue a legal notice to them and claim your money refund, if they are not ready to make the payment within notice period then you may file a complaint against them before consumer Forum and claim your amount along with the litigation charge and compensation.
The time limit for filing the complaint is two years from the date of cause of action and cause of action shall be start from the last day of your notice period.

In what way you have been cheated by the country club?
You have not given details about the cheating activity so that a proper opinion can be rendered.
However you may first issue a legal notice demanding return of your amount if the conditions have been violated by the club.
You have stated that you have not availed the facilities of the country club so far after taking the membership, but how do you say that they have cheated you when there is no denial of any promise that was made or the agreements that are yet to be violated.

You should write to the club authorities seeking clarification on all the points raised by you especially on all those contradictions observed by you which are against the promised facilities.
Get their reply in writing and if you still feel aggrieved then you may initiate legal process as per law by first issuing them with a legal notice and then dragging them to consumer court seeking relief, remedy and compensation too.
