Dear sir, I m a working bachelor in Delhi NCR, I met with a girl in 2011 ND spend a normal friendship life with her 2013. In these three years I didn't make physical relationship with her. While I helped her with money ND I also give support her for searching job many times. Kissing, hugging are normal there, After 2013 I didn't met her again but recently last month I got a what's massege from her side, that she is with relationship with someone ND that person threatening her ND also beating her many times she also send me her personal photographs of bound like knee pics, neck pic for make reliability, I asked her address than she told me that she is working in institutions with her hubby ND hubby was owner there. I visited there like a student ND make payment of 5000 for study purpose. When I completed payment that girl come ND slap me in front of everyone ND blamed me that in 2013 I tried to rape her. I make my silent there cause of I was single amoung her staff. After one day when I make a call in her institutions for Refund my money ND simply talk with recepnlist. On that same day I received a call from a Delhi police that a woman are going to loudge a complain against me of section 376. While I replied that officer that last from two days I m out of station. I requested to police officer for take some time for 4 days. Now police officer hold complain till Monday ND calling me for represent my self. Now I am so much scare because I m working in a MNC ND due to any criminal records company may be fire me. After that day I didn't demand my money back. Please suggest me what's should I do in this matter, I m alone in Delhi ND can't tell to my family about this, I think this girl trying to destroy my carrier. 1. this is totally false case if you had not done such act of rape.
2. it will be very tough for her to prove this charge. because she cannot produce medical evidence in support of charge of rape.
3. the supreme court has held in catena of cases that a person cannot be sentenced for the offence of rape only on oral statement.
4. in devoid of circumstantial or reliable evidence sentence is not sustainable.
5. you should contest this allegation and show her that you are ready to face any challenge.

This girl is trying to extort money from you and as you said you have paid 5000 Rupees do you have a receipt for this. Also as mentioned you said she said you tried to rape her in 2013 - this is again questionable
It would be better to go to Police Station with a local lawyer who may help you in Handling the local cops. Also keep print out / soft copy of all the messages this woman has sent you - DO NOT HANDOVER YOUR PHONE to the cop if you have not kept the soft copies. - show all these messages to the cop.

You should immediately contact an advocate and give a strong notice to the police stating that he is acting on the consideration received from that girl hence he is torturing you on the baseless allegation for no such incidence that took place and to refrain from making such calls without following legal procedures or else you may complain against him with the human rights commission.
There can be no complaint maintainable for an incidence that is alleged to have taken place long back i.e., more than three years.
Such false allegations canot hold ground for a criminal complaint too hence dont worry that they would hamper your career or future.
